The Man Who Would Never be a Flower

Omar ZahZah

There was a Man who would never be a Flower.
No matter how much he Wanted to, he would never be a Flower.
He went to where the Flowers were.
He found a Red Flower, he tore its Petals.
He thought of being a Red Flower,
He thought of someone tearing his Petals.
He found a Yellow Flower, he tore it from the Roots.
He thought of being a Yellow Flower, he thought of someone tearing him from the Roots.
He looked at all the Flowers, they could drink the Sun.
He thought of being all the Flowers . . .
He stuck his Face in the Dirt, he began to Cry.
He thought, At least the Worms will Drink it.
